I have been very happy with the quality of service and keen prices offered by Ace Computers. They were able to fix the YLOD on my PS3 very quickly and kept me informed at every stage.
I would thoroughly recommend the company and be more than happy to use them again should I need any other repairs.

When my ps3 showed me the yellow light of death, I looked online to find out what was wrong, and what could he done to fix it. I found out that the problem could be fixed, but didn’t have the tools or knowledge to do so.
Nonetheless, Sony would only offer to collect my ps3 and give me a new one after 6 weeks, for £130.
I instead opted for Ace Computer Centre. I took my ps3 in at 10:30 in the morning, and received a call at 3 in the afternoon saying it was fixed and ready for collection. When I picked it up the next day, the fix was explained to me, and it was clear they had gone beyond the call of duty. All this for £60, and I kept all my data. The console is in fact working better now than it did before the yellow light of death appeared.
Very professional, worth the money, efficient, effective.

I have had my laptop Sony Vaio AR51SU for about 5 years, the machine had worked perfectly. Then one day I switched it on and was greeted with 3 beeps and a blank screen. I researched the problem and found out the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) had failed.
This seems to be a common problem with newer GPU’s due to solder less lead being used. This problem seems to plague laptops, Xbox 360 and PS3 (red ring to death, yellow light of death respectively).
The good news was that there are solutions to fix this problem;
Try and re-flow the solder on the GPU.
Get the GPU re-balled.
Get a new GPU chip.
There are many companies that offer these services online, but you normally have to post your Laptop/Console halfway across the country. I was not comfortable doing this so I Google’d companies near to me in Tunbridge Wells.
I found Ace Computer Centre (ACC) and phoned them up and spoke to James. Within 2hrs he arrived at my house to collect my laptop during which he explained to me all my options. I chose to go for a new GPU chip, ACC returned my laptop to me in 4 days in perfect working order.
I would highly recommend ACC to anyone, they are a very professional company and inspire your confidence with the results to prove it! Thank you James (ACC).
The screen on my laptop needed replacing. Ace researched the costs (which were very high for my model, and finally swapped screens from an old laptop I had for a third of the price it would have cost me, all within 24 hours of my contacting them.
